ATMOS SMS series units are designed, manufactured and tested at our state of the art factory in New Delhi, India to ensure optimal temperature for the crane electronics and cooling comfort for the cabin operator is maintained.
The steel melting shop is one of the most integral parts of the steel making process where the electric arc furnace temperature can rise upto 1800 Deg. Celsius. High ambient temperatures, severe dust levels and heavy vibrations are experienced on all equipment operating on an EOT/Automated processing crane. These are the core focus areas applied to the ATMOS SMS series units. In order to maintain minimal or no downtime during steel production, it is imperative to reduce any equipment failure and eliminate any expensive maintenance procedures.

Fans

Compressor
Best suited for the purpose, selection is made between hermetic scroll and Semi Hermetic compressor for which 2 trusted and leading brands are considered Copeland and Bitzer as a specialist for refrigeration and air conditioning technology for incredible and flawless performance at elevated load conditions.
Condensate Evaporator – ATMOS condensate evaporator series provides an effective solution to the spillage of condensate water from the evaporator coils of air conditioning systems. Capability of handling up to 12 kg/hr. steam generation rate and fully automatic control of the unit, keeps the water spillage issues at bay and user-friendly operation. The condensate evaporator unit is a must have equipment for operator cabins and E-rooms where spillage of water can cause serious damage to the crane equipment.
Ducts
Designed for uniform air distribution at complex spaces, ATMOS air supply ducts ensure better air flow and least temperature gain over the lengths in high ambient temperatures. the ergonomic design of ducts helps the technician to install and remove the ducts at ease.
ATMOS PROTECT COATINGS
ATMOS PROTECT coating is a Phenolic based coating which offers consistent high-quality corrosion protection for SMS and coke oven applications where mostly acids, solvents, and salts are the prime reasons for corrosion. ATMOS PROTECT coating is chemical resistant and typically used where low pH environments and higher temperatures are factors.
Special Materials
Stainless Steel Heat Exchangers in zinc and copper industries, where high level of acidic fumes eats up copper and aluminium in a short duration of period, ATMOS make Stainless Steel heat exchangers performs impeccably even after prolong exposure to highly acidic environments.
Stainless Steel Frame
Stainless Steel Frame for better Frame integrity and high corrosion resistance, Stainless Steel frames are promising in providing long life for the machine to perform in high vibration and corrosive environments.
ATMOS push-to-connect refrigerant fittings quickly connect copper pipes in refrigerant system with no flaring or brazing involved, refrigerant lines can be securely and safely connected in harsh environments in no time. The unique, leak-proof double O-rings sealing design creates a permanent high-pressure gas seal that prevents connection leaks caused by galling, vibration, pulsation and extreme temperature changes.

Special Filters
Specific environments where normal pre filter and fine filters prove ineffective, ATMOS special filter units perform impeccably. Atmos special air filters target dangerous pollutants which are present in harsh industrial environments such as nitrogen dioxide, sulphur dioxide, carbon monoxide along with odours and unpleasant smell and removes them up to maximum extent.
